Meetings & Events

The Forest Acres Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Tree of Life located at 6719 North Trenholm Rd, Columbia, SC 29206. Click here for a Map. Lunch is from 12:45 to 1:15, and the meeting usually begins at 1:00 p.m. followed by Club Business. We have a guest speaker each week covering a range of interesting topics from 1:30-2:00 (prompt finish).  The fifth Wednesday of each month we hold an evening social meeting.

Forest Acres Festival!

The Forest Acres Festival is held the third Saturday of May each year.  The festival is located at AC Flora High School, (here’s a Map) and it’s free fun for the entire family! The Forest Acres Rotary Club coordinates, manages and runs the festival. Proceeds from festival sponsors are used to provide monetary grants to local not-for-profit organizations.

Happy Feet Project

Forest Acres Rotary Club participates in a project called Happy Feet. This project (when funds are available through grants or fund raising efforts) provides brand new shoes to children who otherwise may not have the opportunity for new shoes. The event is usually held at Payless Shoes on Forest Drive. (Stay tuned for upcoming Happy Feet Projects!)
